| Description | In the MTMDVRPTW-DA, the vehicle trips model trailer activities. For each trailer activity (e.g., travelling, unloading at customers) a driver (and truck) is needed, this is what we call driver assignment. A combination of driver and trailer is fixed for the entire trip after leaving the depot until returning to a (possibly other) depot. This means drivers may change trailers at depots. Also, for loading the trailer, no driver needs to be assigned. |
